They came here for work. Some of the asian americans want back to asia and stayed in america.They still have to work very hard with
little pay , But they still got the job done. Some worked in the mines for gold and some built railroad tracks. The asian american also brought a little of their culture with them. Here are some examples (see below).

from the Redwood forest, to the Gulf Stream waters,

They came from asia to the united states
They brought us chopsticks and traveled on boats
from the altantic to the pacific
this land was made for you and me

Write four new verses for the song "This Land is Your Land".

What connections did you notice between your group of people and another group?
The africans and asian americans were both immigrants.All of the groups
contributed to the united states in food.

Like the Europens the came here for freedom.They both gave more to this contrey like new foods and new words.
